GeoTek Services, LLC employs Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) best practices and methods specified by ASTM.
Utility SurveysFor utility surveys, GeoTek uses both Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) — two very complementary technologies. GeoTek uses a mid-range frequency GPR system (400 MHz) to scan for utilities. This system is capable of generating both 2D and 3D representations of objects below the surface. GeoTek also uses an EMI-based SeekTech Line locator. The SeekTech is the only line locator that uses omni-directional antennas, guidance arrows and an easy-to-read mapping display to lead you quickly and accurately to the target line.
